Boarding

Boarding at The Strain Family Equestrian Center consists of 25 matted 12x12 box stalls with individual run-outs. Horses are fed twice a day. The stalls are cleaned daily. Boarders enjoy use of all the facility amenities including individual lockers, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, round pen, trailer parking, individual stall runouts, and 6 large grass turnout pastures. There are also miles of cross country trails without crossing a road. All horses entering the property must have a current negative Coggins test and a Rabies Certificate.

Barn Hours:

Open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m

Boarding Rates:

Boarding with use of all amenities $500.00 per month

Turn out:

Monday – Friday $50.00 per month
You may also turn your own horse out but must remain on site.

If not pre-bagged $30.00 per month
If pre-bagged: no charge

We love SFEC! My three girls are growing up here, and I would not have it any other way. We went from just casual lessons to leasing, buying and now we are happy horse owners. It's our 2nd home. The instructors are the best! They have such a warmth and love for these kids and they are truly helping these kids be the best they can be! There is such a family-friendly feeling at our barn, we welcome all new students and families. We are all eager to see new students and always willing to help them have a great experience.

We have Chris and Bill to thank for giving us such a family friendly barn, and truly making us feel that this is our home too. Tory has an incredible sense of pride for her barn and respect for everyone who comes thru it. She has learned lessons in owning a horse I could never have taught her. She has had to deal with sickness, death, injury, compassion, victory, happiness, and pure joy.

I thank you for giving Tory the opportunity to work in summer camps, help with lessons, work at the barn, and to mold her teenage years.
