Special Events
Throughout the year we host a variety of events.
In the Fall, we have an In-House Horse Show. Classes are designed for all ability levels along with some family fun classes. All participants get a ribbon.
Our Summer Horse Programs run through July and August with 5 one week sessions.
December brings our Holiday Open House with several equine discipline demonstrations as well as our annual Drill Team performing to Christmas music for children and adults. Our Holiday Open House is packed with lots of food and fun. All are welcome to attend the holiday festivities.
We also offer 2 adult programs during the Spring & Fall as well as a school vacation programs for children throughout the year.
The Summer Horse Program at the Strain Family Equestrian Center is open to students and non-students alike. We run 5 one week sessions from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Class size is limited to 10 riders per week. There are sessions for beginner and advanced riders, as well as arts and crafts activities. Each session ends with a horse show and pizza party.
Attention Adult Horse Enthusiasts!
Adult Horse Clinic
Classes are specifically designed for adults who want to learn more about horse care and maintenance. Each session will include a one-hour group riding lesson. The cost of this five week Adult Clinic is $150.00
Beginner/Intermediate Rider Clinic will be held on Tuesdays
